Sách nói Cali Science GK

Tuần này chắc các Bạn cũng chẳng còn tâm trạng để mà học, mà lo cho con học. Mỗi năm đến Tết là dẹp hết mọi sự, chạy xuôi chạy ngược, quà biếu, dành tiền lì xì... dọn dẹp nhà cửa. Bên này khỏe re, không biết Tết là gì! Mỗi năm có mấy ngày nghỉ Thanksgiving, Christmas và New Year ... chấm hết, lo mấy bữa ăn trong gia đình. Xong ... tiếp tục đi cày!

Làm tuần 4 hay 5 ngày, cuối tuần thu xếp chuyện trong nhà, lui tới lo cho con cái. Hết tuần này qua tuần khác. Hôm nay ngồi parking lot ở chợ, tranh thủ ăn bánh mì cho nhanh, để về kịp đón con, nhìn người nào cũng hối hả, như cái máy ... Thấy mấy người lớn tuổi, vợ chồng đi chợ với nhau, trời lạnh trong mấy lớp áo, cái gì cũng làm nhanh để rồi ra xe đi về. Không có an nhàn như bên VN mình!

SÁCH NÓI CHO LỚP K - MÔN ĐỌC LEVEL EMERGENT (BELOW)

Đã hứa, hôm nay ngày nghỉ lễ, cố gắng thu xếp để post nhiều nhiều một chút. Chứ ngày thường đi làm, post được 1 level là nhiều lắm rồi.

Sách nói ở level này, có khi mỗi trang chỉ có 1 vài chữ mà thôi. Cho con tập làm quen với sách. Hôm nay mình có đọc một số trang web bên VN.

"LUYỆN NÓI CHUẨN GIỌNG MỸ " - Thấy có quảng cáo "sách nói" E-Z Talk trong mục Phóng Sự- Thời Sự của HTV http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=...ture=endscreen. Mình không thấy có giá bán. Các Bạn tham khảo loại sách này như thế nào.

Cách đây gần 10 năm, mình đã mua loại sách tương tự như thế này lúc con đầu mới vài 3 tuổi. Hiệu quả thì mình không thể nói được. Nhưng mình vẫn cứ theo cách "truyền thống" cha mẹ - con cái học với nhau, bằng cách đọc cho con nghe, giúp con đọc sách tốt, cứ âm thầm từng ngày từng ngày. Nói chuyện với con nhiều, nằm bên cạnh con để nghe con đọc và hỏi con nhiều câu hỏi. Đưa con đi nhiều nơi, vào nhiều nhà sách, thư viện khác nhau ... đi nghe biểu diễn piano ...tham gia nhiều hoạt động ngoại khóa.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Tl_...eature=related Nghe người thuyết minh cho sản phẩm, và nghe giám đốc giới thiệu ... một lúc là muốn thở dài. Mình cố banh tay mà nghe mà không thể nào hiểu được chữ "talk". Promote, PR sản phẩm chuẩn như vậy mà không chọn được người nói cho kha khá một chút.

Quay lại sách cho K đây - Người ta gọi là Emergent Level, bởi vì đây được coi như là lần đầu tiên chính thức con trẻ tiếp xúc với sách. Level này cũng tương đương như BELOW (màu xanh lá cây)

Hôm qua xong được phần Social Studies từ GK cho đến G6. Hôm nay đi tiếp phần Reading, bắt đầu từ K. Sẽ có hết cho đến lớp 6, sách có gáy màu blue (independent (GK), advanced (G1-6)).

Mẫu giáo là có thể đọc sách được, nếu giỏi. Trẻ nào phát triển được thì cứ cho phát triển, không kìm hãm, không cào bằng. Phải nói người ta soạn sách công phu thiệt, có đến 3-4 levels cho mỗi lớp học.

KINDERGARTEN - SÁCH NÓI MÔN XÃ HỘI

Hôm nay sẽ cho các bé mẫu giáo học Môn Xã hội. Đề tài khác với những món khác, chỉ thuần toàn Leveled Readers, hay Science Leveled Readers. Môn Xã hội sẽ đề cập đến nhiều lãnh vực khác nhau, lịch sử, địa lý Mỹ và thế giới. Sẽ có những vấn đề như cộng đồng, nghề nghiệp, kinh tế … trong môn học này nữa.



Content leveled readers teach social studies concepts, vocabulary, and reading skills – at each student’s reading level – and allow students to read and explore the wonders of nonfiction. Social Studies leveled readers deliver world and American history, geography, etc content to help address the individual needs of all students. Below-level (green), On-level (yellow), and Advanced (blue) selections give all students additional reading experiences, and teach social studies content at different levels to spark student curiosity and create eager learners.

Each Kindergarten reader pdf has six double pages and is a richly illustrated, self-contained little book.

Lớp K có 20 cuốn sách nhỏ cho môn Social Studies, gồm có 7 phần khác nhau. Mỗi phần sẽ có 3 cấp độ, ex. K.1.1 có nghĩa là sách của K, chủ đề 1, level 1 (below, dưới chuẩn, màu xanh lá cây). K.3.2 – có nghĩa là sách của K, chủ đề 3, level 2 (On, trung bình, màu vàng). K.5.3 : sách của K, chủ đề 5, level 3 (Advanced, khá giỏi, màu xanh da trời)

Không kịp để type ra tên các cuốn sách, các Bạn có thể làm được khi cho con đọc. Mình đã phân loại theo chủ đề và cấp độ như vậy để các Bạn tiện việc theo dõi và giúp con đọc hiệu quả hơn.

Có thể là có nhiều người có rồi, nhưng mình thấy loạt sách này khá hay, mỗi lớp từ 100 cuốn nhỏ trở lên, có nhiều levels khác nhau. Hôm nay chỉ gởi về cho MG, level đầu tiên ON (trung bình). Các Bạn để dành cho con đọc loại sách này. Nhớ là Adobe Reader của các Bạn phải cập nhật thì mới có sounds, mới mở được. Từ Mẫu giáo đến lớp 6 sẽ có hàng loạt sách nói - nghe như thế này.

Mình thấy từ mẫu giáo người ta đã tập cho con về Print Awareness, Phonemic Awareness , và có Phonics luôn rồi. Cứ cho đọc nhiều, nghe quen âm thanh, hình ảnh màu sắc đẹp. Không ngại không biết từ mới, bởi vì từ mới thường được diễn tả nghiã qua hình ảnh.
